What Fools These Mortals Be Wall Plaque

On sale

This is Gaia, Earth goddess, and she is furious. She carries a cloud that is raining and causing floods in one hand and a burning, too hot sun in the other hand. She has a barrometer in her bag and a banner reading,' What fools these mortals be'. She has a blood pressure cuff around her arm. Her wings are green and natural, she has a patterned, leafy skirt, crown and wears a watch - because time is running out! A bird flies below her hanging on painted linen threads.

She meaures 20cm from the top of her crown to the bottom of the bird and 12cm across, from wing to wing. Gaia is handmade and hand painted, over many hours, from earthenware clay. She is ready to hang on a hook on the wall.

PLEASE NOTE! This item will be on display in The Robin Craft Cafe as part of Sheen Art Trail, it can be bought now but won't be sent out until after 2nd May.
