Sumer is icumen in Wall Plaque
April carries a banner reading, 'Sumer is icumen in, Merye sing cuckou, cuckou, cuckou' from the C 13th English song. She is celebrating spring, wearing a wreath of flowers and she has a bag carrying her rabbit and some roses in it. She has a lace collar, a skirt with multi coloured squares and pink ballet slippers with green ribbons. A heart with boughs of willow dangles on painted linen threads.
She measures approximately 26.5cm from the tips of her fingers to the bottom of the heart. She measures approximately 13cm across from the edge of her skirt to her elbow. She is ready to hang on a hook on the wall.
She is handmade and hand painted, over many hours, of earthenware clay. She is a one off.
