The Mother of the Woodland Birds is a protector of all the birds in the woods and forests. She is an articulated figure made of stoneware with very detailed painting with underglazes. Her limbs are joined together with painted linen threads and handmade porcelain beads. She is approximately 24cm x 8 cm at the widest points.
She has many details such as the leaves in her lungs and the root-like veins and arteries. She wears a watch to remind us that time is running out to protect our wildlife.
