The Mother of the Ravens is a protector of all the ravens, rooks and crows. She is an articulated figure made of stoneware with very detailed painting with underglazes. Her limbs are joined together with painted linen threads and handmade porcelain beads. She is approximately 25cm x 7.5cm at the widest points. She can be hung on the wall or sit on a shelf.
She has many details such as: acorns sprouting into young trees at her ankles, birds' nests at her knees and feathers along her collar bone. She wears a watch to remind us that time is running out to protect our wildlife.
