Such is the folly of humans

My winged figure carries rain and fire in her hands and carries a banner reading, 'Tanta stultitia mortalium est', (such is the folly of humans). This is my response to devasting floods and wildfires that are resulting from climate change. She has a sand timer on her crown, it has nearly run out. She is highly detailed; handmade and hand painted in underglazes. She is approximately 15cm x 12.5cm at the widest points. She has a secure hanger on the back.
