Mermaid Lucia with her Cat

Lucia is a mermaid. She carries a ship and the moon to control the tides; she wears a lace collar and a watch. Lucia is painted in dark, soft blues because she is a guardian of the sea at night. I made her from white earthenware and I hand painted her in underglazes. As a result, each of my figures is different and has its own personality. She measures approximately 16cm X 10cm at the widest points. She has a secure hanger on the back.
