'Love is the Sweetest Thing'. Have I got the song in your head yet? It's a 1930s song. These jewellery dishes were made out of clay, fired, painted over many hours with underglazes, glazed and refired. They measure approximately 11cm X 10cm X 2cm. They can accommodate a good number of rings, earrings and so on; the watch is a man's watch and rings pictured are big, I wear proper knuckle dusters! It's perfect for storing jewellery overnight or, when you're washing up.
