Ioanna the Mermaid Wall Plaque

Ioanna is a mermaid with a deep blue tail. She carries a banner reading, 'I'll sing you a song of the salt in the sea' and her cormorant companion perches on her arm. She wears a crown, a stripped bodice and a watch. A blue heart with a decorated anchor and dangles on a painted linen threads.

She measures approximately 24.5cm from the top of her crown to the bottom of the heart. She measures approximately 9.5cm across, from the top of her tail to her elbow.

She is handmade and hand painted, over many hours, from earthenware clay. She is a one off.
