I Must go Down to the Seas Again Plaque

This plaque features a mermaid with a background of stars, with the edge of the sun above her head. Her hair is blowing in the wind and she holds a banner reading, 'I must go down to the seas again', a quote from the John Masefield poem Sea-Fever. She is wearing a starry crown, a bodice with lace collar and carries her tiny cat. This plaque has a small shelf featuring 'to the lonely sea and the sky' and a sea shell. All the edges are decorated with pattern. This piece is entirely handmade and unique. It measures approximately 14.5cm X 8cm X 4.5cm, it has a secure hanger on the back.
