'Drink to me only' Figure

Celia dances, holding a banner reading, 'Drink to me only with thine eyes, And I will pledge with mine' from the poem Song to Celia by Ben Jonson. Celia wears a crown of leaves and a small bird sits on her arm. She wears a watch and rings and carries a branch of full blown roses. Celia also carries a black and white decorated heart that hangs loose on a beaded wire. She has a bodice decorated with leaves, a striped and checkered skirt and stripy socks. Celia is handmade and hand painted in great detail, she is a one off.

She has a secure hanger on the back. She measures approximately 19cm from toe to finger tip, her skirt is 13.5cm wide. Including the hanging heart this piece is 24cm from top to bottom.
