This plate features a mermaid holding her faithful cat companion. She waves a banner of sea-faring flags which actually do spell out 'Ahoy There!'. She wears a watch and a sailors' hat with the word 'Courage' on the band; her tail is a deep blue. The plate has tiny squares painted on the rim and is sponged green on the back. It is handmade and hand painted, it's a one off.
The plate is 21.5cm in diameter and 3.00cm deep. It is safe for food use.
